It is of no fallacy that there is no boundary, blockage or distance barrier of any sort to the access or manifestation of the Spirit. And indeed, there is no medium whatsoever that the Holy Spirit cannot use to demonstrate enormous power, no matter how unimaginable or unreasonable it may be (Mantle - 2Ki 2:14, Hem of garment - Matt 14:36, Handkerchief and Apron - Acts 19:12, Shadow - Acts 5:15).
You might have heard of testimonies of men about the move of God's power, either through Social Media (despite the different locations - countries and continents across the globe), Audio or Video Messages and many more. Also, it is not bad or devilish for believers to have spiritual books, messages, write ups etc on their phones, laptops or any technological gadgets.
Doing these does not serve majorly any other purpose than to use them to build up ourselves spiritually and get imparted by the anointing of the Men of God. Which has helped us to access the unreachable materials manually, due to the distance or cost, but with the help of the computer age and technology, the barrier of access across the globe is cut-off.
As one can easily access spiritual materials, e-books, audios, videos etc at your fingertips.
Now, it is so obvious that virtually most believers depend or rely on these technological gadgets as additionals or boosters to their spiritual growth aside and apart from the physical meetings and services that they attend under the ministration of Men of God.
Here are my questions: How do you (and what) trigger, enhance, grow or promote your fervency and connectivity in (and with) the Spirit? What is your source of connection with God? If you are one of those that's not capable of getting any device to contain these materials, or even though you once had any of the devices but it got faulty or broken down, are you still on course?
If paradventure the world or your country particularly, encounters technological malfunction or blackout, which has rarely occurred or been recorded in history, will men not conform to the old ways of how past spiritual generals and custodians (who do not have access to these advancements) still got fired up and fervent in the Spirit?
Check the ways Christ and the patriarchs stood on course and never got distracted or disconnected from engaging the Spirit. They made the basics of their fervency to be Obedience to Christ's foundational way of constant connection in the Spirit:
1 - Love for God and the things of the Spirit filling the heart (Mrk 12:30,Jh 14:21-23)
2 - Yielding and trusting the directions and leading of the Holy Spirit (Luk 2:40,Jh 3:8, Rom 12:11,1Cor 2:13,Gal 5:25)
3 - Diligent studying of the Word of God (2Tim 2:15)
4 - Fervency in Prayer and engaging in prayer anywhere and everywhere (Luk 18:1,1Tim 2:8)
5 - Respecting communion and relationship with God through separation from the world and its fantasy at due time (Luk 1:80,4:14,Matt 14:23,Mrk 6:46).
It's obvious that some who has depended solely on those devices get distracted along the line; it becomes hard for them to yield to the Spirit when He wants to open their eyes to Spiritual things. If only they could be diligent in waiting and trusting Him for inspiration, stirring and quickening.
Men are not aware or are blindfolded to the mysterious truth that all revelations and the mysteries of the kingdom are encompassed and are traceable to the Word of God. They are made known to us by the Spirit whenever we are aligned. Not all could be contained in materials, it is expected of you to diligently seek, persist and be consistent for spiritual enlightenment and understanding.
It is very evident that these e-materials are meant to lead us back to the revelation of the Word and the realities of the Kingdom. But whenever we are not with them or have access to them, do we find it convenient to deliberately study the Word, pray and meditate on the instructions of the Holy Spirit?
(Heb 12:2, 1Cor 3:11) Our foundation is Christ (and the life He's offered to us), let's learn how to engage ourselves constantly in the Spirit, diligently when we are denied access to any spiritual materials just like the men of Old.
If these comes first, then spiritual materials become boosters (2Tim 4:13 - The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.).
Men, even at the point of tribulation, persecution and death are not disconnected or distracted in the Spirit. It's as a result of their constant meditation in the Spirit while they were alone.
Learn of Apostle Paul who wrote to the Churches and his mentees mostly in prisons.
