Rom 12:11 -
KJV: Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
ESV: Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
NIV: Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
AMP: Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.
Heaven knows you as a man/woman who never gives up, by his unending passion for souls in intercession and preaching of the gospel.
Men knew you as a fervent brother/sister who never takes a no for an answer when it comes to navigating the operations of the supernatural, by travailing in prayer and maximizing of the authority in the word.
You are known as a fasting machine, one whose favourite quote is 'we die there', whenever you are in charge or Ministering, the kingdom of darkness is in trouble, because of the damages you are causing to their successful operations in the lives of men.
Then thoughts pop in. Then you began to have feelings of stopping. Then you began to see yourself as the only person God trusts and will never assign others to establish his will and purpose.
You wanted to know what would happen if you stopped. You wanted to see if truly, your spirituality matters a lot, if truly the lives of men depends on your progress and fervency in the Spirit.
You wanted to see if heaven or men appreciates your efforts and sacrifices. You wanted heaven or men to start rewarding you with immediate effect. You wanted to reap the fruits of your past sweats and pains without thinking of the lives of men that'll suffer when you forsake your duty post as a priest.
Don't dare making that deadly mistake that is not innocent. Don't be blind to see spiritually that your labours are tremendously affecting lives and going places, causing shifts and landmarks.
That is pride and you'll be guilty, when you start to see the dangers, setbacks and the losses that'll creep in.
That thought is from the devil. Do not give in, nor should you give a place for the devil to lure you into slothfulness and complacency.
Prayer, studying of the word, intercession, fasting, holiness, brokenness, preaching the gospel and every other spiritual activities that you engage in, will never be too much except if it's not enough.
Why? Your track record is and will not be the first.
Remember, generals and giants (that have passed on before you, and have passed the batton to you), had track records which you are yet to make, set or break.
You have just started Sir/MA, why should you stop?
