Compare and contrast contextually the scriptures at the end of this writing, they are proofs that what happened to Enoch, Elijah and Jesus were shadows (except for the dead in Christ, a reality by the resurrection of Christ) of things to come, by implication - what will happen to believers (alive) known as rapture.
Each supernatural occurrence differs by the way it happened: Enoch (was not/no more/disappeared - God took him), Elijah (went up/carried up/ascend - by a whirlwind) and Jesus (taken up/caught up/lifted up - cloud received or took Him/disappeared in or into cloud).
Another difference is that Enoch was not seen when he was translated unlike Elijah and Jesus.
Also, Jesus died and resurrected, and his physical body was translated continually till he ascended finally into heaven - Jh 20:17; 24-29, Luk 24:36-43 (a likelihood of how Angels who are Ministering Spirit Beings transform to Men and engage in natural things when they come to earth and return back to heaven - Gen 18:1-33, 19:1-22, 32:24-30, Heb 13:2), unlike Enoch and Elijah who didn't die at all and experienced translation once.
The similarity is however obvious that they all cheated death into immortality and their body was not found (Elijah - 2Kings 2:16-18).
Meditate on the verses below:
Gen 5:24 - And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. AND Heb 11:5 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
2 Kings 2:11 - And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
Acts 1:9 - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
To believers:
1Cor 15:51-53 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Thess 4:16-17 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Be sure of who you are, where you are going and what happens to you either after death or while you are alive.
Moses died but his body/sepulcher was not found (Deut 34:5-6). History tells of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola who almost had the same experience with those mentioned above, but he was not, he only levitated and (died) slept in Christ. Bishop Benson Idahosa's death didn't caught him unaware, it was said that he pronounced he was going to heaven and sat comfortably on a chair before giving up the ghost. These and many others are testimonies that shows how believers have power over death in Christ Jesus.
With God all things are possible, God can still make men cheat natural death if He wants, depending on His choice and His relationship with men.
