Yes, who do you think the theif would be, who would be accused if you die with what belonged to the world, who would be responsible? Is it you, the devil or death, the cemetery, God, who? Before you conclude, let's listen to Dr. Myles Munroe.
"The wealthiest spot on this planet is not the oil fields of Kuwait, Iraq or Saudi Arabia. Neither is it the gold and diamond mines of South Africa, the uranium miles of the Soviet Union, or the silver mines of Africa. Though it may surprise you, the richest deposits on our planet lie just a few blocks from your house. They rest in your local cemetery or graveyard.
Buried beneath the soil within the walls of those sacred grounds are dreams that never came to pass, songs that were never sung, books that were never designed, plans that never went beyond the drawing board of the mind, and purposes that were never fulfilled. Our graveyards are filled with potential that remained potential. What a tragedy!?"
Take the above words as food for thought. Before you blame the devil who biblically is the thief; before you conclude that the cemetery is the thief (of course God isn't the thief here no matter what, because He played His part by depositing those gifts, potentials and abilities in you); the you must consider yourself as the thief. Not now, but when you die with what belonged and should have done the world enough good by contributing to her growth, welfare, health, productivity, economy, peace etc.
Yes, you are the thief at first, if you allow death to take you when you are not yet empty; if you are getting old without counting the lives that have been impacted by your purpose and essence. It is after you've seen yourself as a thief for failing that you can blame the devil who bears the theif for stealing, killing and destroying. The cemetery is never a thief, it is just an occupant of what the thieves (those ghat died without exhausting their vessels) and the empty vessels but of course, it contains a lot of treasure the thieves never released or maximized for the world before dying.
Now, not everyone that didn't die empty is a thief in the cemetery based on the innocence or guilt of the potential principle. In the cemetery lies the young and old, some who never realized their potentials because they aren't aware of what they carry and have been gifted with, and some who did but refused to or couldn't maximize them before dying.
I'll conclude this series by the words of Dr. Myles Munroe which goes thus:
"only a minute percentage of the five billion people on this planet will experience a significant portion of their true potential. Are you a candidate for contributing to the wealth of the cemetery?
Ask yourself the following questions: who am I? Why am I here? How much potential do I have? What am I capable of doing? By what criteria should I measure my ability? Who sets the standards? By what process can I maximize my ability? What are my limitations?
Within the answers to those questions lies the key to a fulfilled, effective life. You must decide if you are going to rob the world or bless it with the rich, valuable, potent, untapped resources locked away within you. You are more than what you have done".
The End.
Two of my books will be out in about a week, one will be launched and the other will be free, anticipate.
